Located steps away from San Francisco Bay, Aquarium of the Bay is home to over 20,000 animals found in the Bay and along the California coast including sevengill sharks, bat rays, an array of jellies, North American river otters, and more. Explore two magnificent tunnels while thousands of fish swim overhead; get hands-on with sharks, bat rays, sea stars, and anemones in the Aquarium’s two touchpools; and visit the North American river otter habitat, where playful otters romp and roll. With a focus on education and conservation, Aquarium of the Bay is the only aquarium dedicated to the diverse marine life and distinctive ecosystems of San Francisco Bay and its watershed.
