Victoria City Rowing Club (VCRC)
VCRC offers a variety of recreational, seasonal, and competitive programs that facilitate the needs of novice athletes, community athletes and competitive athletes for all age categories (11 yrs old - 99 yrs old) with qualified coaches.
Every individual is welcomed, respected and supported at VCRC. We are committed to doing our best in all we do and promote health and wellness while developing athletes, coaches and citizens. We put rowers at the centre of our decisions and behave with respect, civility and integrity in all we do. We are accountable for all our actions and demonstrate integrity in all our relationships and decisions. We promote trust amongst athletes, coaches, volunteers and staff and between VCRC and the community.
Safety is a primary concern in all we do.
At VCRC the principles outlined by Canadian Sport for Life and the Long-Tem Athlete Development are followed. This helps us to deliver high-quality programs for all rowers, from Learn to Row to high Performance and increases the satisfaction of our members.
