Citizens for Animal Protection

Citizens for Animal Protection, CAP, is a non-profit organization, founded in 1972, which shelters, rescues and places homeless animals for adoption with loving families. CAP advocates respect and compassion for animal life and provides humane education to help prevent cruelty to animals.

Kids love animals and CAP loves Kids!  Our Humane education programs strive to encourage the curiosity, optimism and exuberance of children -- traits often found in our companion pets!  All proceeds generated from our youth programs go directly to the dogs, cats, and other small animals in our care.
