Asian American Resource Center

Asian American Resource Center

The mission of the Asian American Resource Center (AARC) is to provide cultural spaces, resources, services, and educational programs through an Asian American Pacific Islander perspective that bring Austin's diverse communities together.

We provide a range of programs and events including Summer Camps for kids, Senior Programming as well as cultural events including Community Art Exhibits, Film Screenings, Book Talks and Culinary events. The Center features:

  • Resource Library and Computer Lab
  • Community Meeting Room
  • Classrooms
  • Conference Room and Ballroom
  • Interior Courtyard

The AARC represents a long-awaited dream for many in the community, which was made possible through an Austin voter approved 2006 Bond Package with an investment from the U.S. Commerce Department’s Economic Development Administration. The AARC operates under the City of Austin's Parks and Recreation Department.
