This is a wonderful park for everyone to visit . You can hike around it anytime of the year, swim in the warm, clean lake or just bask in the sun on the sandy beach amongst your famity and friends. Its a lake that everyone can enjoy. Have a picnic there on the weekend and best of all its so accessible. We are so lucky to have such a lovely park so close by, so if you haven't been there yet put it on your list of things to do and you can take your doggie for a walk there too!

Great hiking trails and good swimming in the summer, very accessible from the city

If you're training for a run, a loop around the outer Thetis trails makes for shorter distance (around 4.5km) but hilly session.
The views are a great distraction from the burn in your legs, and the trees provide enough shelter so that you can tackle the course in any weather.

The park is also great for dog walking!

A nice park with solid trails. Can get crowded in the summer, which takes away from it a bit, but sand beaches are nice.
