The BMED lab was created in 2004 by Dr. Ryan Rhodes. The lab complement includes administration staff, research project coordinators, and postdoctoral, doctoral, masters, and undergraduate trainees focused on conducting research in the domain of physical activity and population health.
Interested in becoming more physically active?! Join a physical activity study! The BMed Lab currently has several studies geared towards families underway, all of which are recruiting for participants. On-going research projects include:
- · “A Family Physical Activity Study” for families with at least one child between 6 and 12.
- · “Exploring Parental Satisfaction and Happiness through Activities Study” for parents with a child under 13.
- · “Parents and Children Active Together Study” for families with at least one child between 3 and 5.
