The RCMP Heritage Centre opened on May 23, 2007 to share the RCMP story with the world. Located on the grounds of RCMP Academy, 'Depot' Division - the story of the RCMP is appropriately told where Cadets are trained and the story begins.Since 1885, tens of thousands of men and women who have joined the RCMP have passed through the gates at Regina's ‘Depot’ Division. In order to don the iconic red serge, cadets from all over Canada spend months in training on the same grounds as many of their predecessors have for more than 125 years.
The RCMP Heritage Centre is located on ‘Depot’s’ front door step and is dedicated to telling the story of the RCMP.
Through interactive exhibits, audio tours, and programming, as well as driving tours and live events at "Depot", visitors can experience the Force of yesterday and today.
From the earliest days of the North West Mounted Police when it suppressed the whiskey trade, to the life of an RCMP cadet and the Force's current work in International Peace Operations the world over, the tradition lives here.

Experience first-hand one of Canada’s most-loved and oldest stories, the story of the RCMP. The main exhibit gallery features six long term exhibits of which five take guests on a chronological journey that started by an act of parliament in 1873 in response to a need to maintain law and order in the then vast Northwest Territories. The final exhibit “Cracking the Case”, turns visitors into crime scene investigators. Learn all about counterfeiting, ballistics, forensic light source technology, and more as you work to solve the crime displayed in this exciting exhibit. Finally, the Feature Gallery never disappoints with a different newly curated or travelling exhibit rotating through on a quarterly basis.Connect with us through our social media pages on Facebook and Twitterr!
