[Online Event] Easter Egg Delivery 3D Design Challenge

[Online Event] Easter Egg Delivery 3D Design Challenge

This activity has finished and is no longer running.

As students are on an extended March Break, we want to keep students learning, designing & making at home.

The STEAM Project is hosting a free 3D design challenge for students grade 4-12 across York Region!

The Design Problem: The Easter Bunny is getting ready to deliver eggs this year. In order to make sure none of them break, a capsule is needed that will protect the eggs in case they fall!

The challenge: Through TinkerCAD (a free online 3D design software), Develop a 3D printed capsule that will protect a Cadbury Creme Egg from breaking if dropped from the top of our Makerspace (20 feet!).
Deadline: Friday, March 27, 2020 at 12PM (Noon)
Prize: A STEAM Project prize pack and your design 3D printed!
How to Enter: Sign up through eventbrite, and we will send you a class code and further details for using TinkerCAD.

The three best designs will be 3D printed and tested at our Makerspace!
