BC SPCA Wild ARC – 16th Annual Open House
Don't miss this amazing event held only once a year!
Wild ARC’s Open House on Saturday March 28th and Sunday March 29th offers a rare opportunity to go behind-the-scenes at a wildlife rehabilitation centre. Bring your family and friends to our facility to see what it takes to care for over 3,000 injured and orphaned wild animals annually from our community.
Free one-hour tours are offered between 12 to 4pm each day. Reservations are required to ensure that all guests get a unique educational tour. This event fills up quickly - be sure to register soon to reserve your preferred tour time. While there is no charge for the tour, we appreciate in-kind donations of food or supplies to help our wild patients – visit spca.bc.ca/support-wild-arc for our current Supplies Wish List.
Please leave your four-legged family members at home. You'll need appropriate footwear for walking outside, and come dressed for any weather since conditions this time of year are unpredictable – the show goes on, rain or shine! We can also arrange modified tours (inside-only) for those with mobility challenges.
Please note that to avoid potential stress to our wild animal patients, they will not be available for viewing. However, we will be hosting live educational raptors during the weekend.
