Siblings play many different roles at many different times in each other’s life. The needs of siblings of people who experience disabilities are complex, varied and change over time. This year we are making sure we can support the siblings from a younger age. Siblings between the ages of 7-8 are welcome to attend for the daytime activities on Saturday. Siblings 9-19 have the option to either stay overnight or to just attend during the day. We find siblings under the age of 9 prefer to be home to sleep.
Workshops are facilitated by an adult sibling and will be focused on age appropriate concerns.
Activities may include swimming (water slide included), movie at Cineplex Cinemas at Centre Mall, Ruckers, a pizza party and a craft.
Drop off will be at the Best Western Plus (3331 8th Street East, Saskatoon) at 1:00pm on Saturday, Feb 22nd. Pick up will be at the same location at 1:00pm on Sunday, Feb 23rd.
The cost of the workshop is detailed below;
For siblings who want to spend the night (must be over 9 years old):
$50/ participant for overnight accommodations, meals (Saturday lunch and supper and Sunday breakfast and lunch), activities and workshops.
For siblings who want to come all day Saturday, but not spend the night:

The full agenda will be available in late January. Please note there is an option to pay at the event during checkout.
