Family Sunday: Waisisk / Animals

Family Sunday: Waisisk / Animals

The Art Gallery of Nova Scotia is pleased to welcome Marilyn Francis, a Mi’kmaq Elder from Acadia First Nation in Yarmouth, who will join us for this inspiring Family Sunday. Marilyn will share her wisdom as she helps us each explore our own animal spirit of creativity. Marilyn will teach us about animal names in the Mi’kmaw language as we paint our own animal flash cards.

The newly-installed exhibitions Written in Thread and Worn Inward provide inspiration for this drop-in studio.

All materials are supplied.

Please call to register 902 749 2248 or email agns.yarmouth@novascotia.ca
