ArtStarts Explores - Possibilities with Plastic

ArtStarts Explores - Possibilities with Plastic

This activity has finished and is no longer running.

Come explore with us! This fun, free drop-in program invites all families to investigate and discover the world around them through observing, touching, drawing, moving, getting messy, and listening to inspire creative learning.

On January 19 from 11am-12pm we explore the possibilities with plastic. Did you know that up to 15 billion plastic bags are used every year in Canada? Artist Romi Kim will be challenging families to find creative ways to keep them out of landfills by helping us rethink of ways we can use plastic bags through weaving, ruching, and more.

Suitable for ages 3–8

All ArtStarts performances and workshops are for young people and their caregivers. All adults must be accompanied by a minor.
