PNW WECAN Conference

PNW WECAN Conference

We are excited to have Dr. Blanning return to the PNW!

The Centennial year of Waldorf Education calls us back to the roots of Early Childhood Education, calls us to understand how to help a child feel at home in the world and to see that the world is good. Meeting each child's full humanity in the midst of our ever-changing times is the work of the adult. We will explore these topics with Dr. Adam Blanning while weaving in the roles that heredity, culture, diversity and inclusion have on the development of young children and the adults who work with them.

Dr. Blanning will offer three keynotes during the conference and will give an additional talk on Friday evening that is open to the public. See conference schedule below.

We have a variety of workshops to choose from that promise to be engaging and filled with learning. Based on feedback from conference participants, we are changing the workshop format this year. Instead of two shorter workshops, participants will choose only ONE workshop and there will be two sessions. This will allow for more time to work together and deepen the topic being offered.
