Sun, Snow & Seals: Studying seals to save humans
with Dr. Thomas Hawke
Seals can hold their breath for a long time while they swim and chase their food! How can understanding how they do this help usdesign better medicines for people who are sick? Join us to learn about seal research in Antartica!

Let’s Talk Science will run a hands-on activity after the lecture from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm.

Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Adults must also register for this free event. Please bring ticket to be admitted

Discounted parking vouchers are available for LOT I on campus. Vouchers are at registration.
