The Calgary Women's Chorus presents a concert promising to delight your senses this Christmastime! "Miles to Go" is an homage to the poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost, a favourite text learned by many in grade school. The choir will sing a beautiful setting by Vancouver composer, Larry Nickel.

Also featured on this concert is the charming and comical musical drama by John Rutter called "Brother Heinrich's Christmas." Presenting prominent Calgarians, Duval Lang as narrator and award-winning musician, Michael Hope on bassoon. This delightful tale will leave you in the Christmas spirit! Michael will also join the choir as vocal soloist.

Other works on the programme include compositions by JS Bach, Mark Sirett, Amy Grant, and Dan Forrest.

The Calgary women's Chorus is conducted by Artistic Director, Cody Obst and accompanied by Antonina Cox. Other guest musicians include Aura Pon, oboe and Peter Pfiffig, percussion.
