Fado, The Saddest Music in the World

Fado, The Saddest Music in the World

Your chance to see the hit of the 2018 Fringe! Puente Theatre's FADO has been picked up for a long run at the Firehall in Vancouver, and returns to Victoria for four shows only before it leaves town. Half concert, half play, FADO tells the story of a young woman facing the secrets of her past, interwoven with the deliriously tragic national music of Portugal called Fado. Written by Elaine Ávila, directed by Mercedes Bátiz-Benét, and featuring the fabulous Sara Marreiros.
