Artisans and vendors from the local Estonian, Latvian, and Lithuanian communities offer a variety of gifts for the people on your list at San Francisco’s Baltic Christmas Fair. Whether modern, traditional, or folk-inspired -- you will find it among the jewelry, ornaments, textiles, crafts, food items, and more on offer!
Come enjoy a taste of Baltic holiday traditions with a warm, neighborhood vibe, and support our local communities. Free admission to the marketplace all day. Hot food and drink available all day.
• Shop the marketplace for jewelry, ornaments, food items, handknits, textiles, books, toys, collectibles, prints, ceramics, amber, bronze, bags and wallets, accessories, gingerbread, holiday decorations, quilts, cards, soaps, and more on offer.
• New this year: performances from local Baltic choirs and folk arts demonstrations during the day. Take a picture with Santa when he stops by for a visit at 12 PM. Raffle at 11:30 AM, 1, and 3 PM - all attendees will be entered! All day, kids and adults alike can try a trivia scavenger hunt about the Baltics to win a small prize.
• For the second year, the fair will host a children’s clothing exchange. Parents are invited to bring clean, gently-used kids’ clothing, sorted by size, to exchange. Leftover clothes will be donated to a local San Francisco charity.
• Coming by public transit? The Latvian Hall is a quick ten minute ride from the 24th St. Mission BART station via the MUNI 48 line, which runs every 20 minutes on the weekend and has a stop 200 feet from the Latvian Hall.
The Baltic Christmas Fair is a joint event by the San Francisco Estonian Society, Northern California Latvian Association, and San Francisco Lithuanians. Fair proceeds support Baltic community activities in the Bay Area.
