The BNI B2B Executive Network Chapter is joining forces to support one of its own: the Neighbour to Neighbour Centre. The Neighbour to Neighbour Centre is one of the founding members of this Burlington based BNI chapter, but this is the first time in all these years that it has seen its fellow BNI members work together in this way to support the non-for-profit organization. The staff is touched and excited to experience the anticipated success of the event.
As the holiday season approaches us, we are reminded of our own blessings and of the fact that many others are not as fortunate. The Neighbour to Neighbour Centre is a light at the end of the tunnel for many of Hamilton’s struggling families. Whether it’s from disappearing jobs, disappointing pensions, failing health, or failing marriages, thousands of local families are spiraling into financial crisis. The Neighbour to Neighbour Centre provides practical services that address many challenges faced by those in poverty, such as education programs, counseling programs, and food banks and deliveries.
To raise funds for the Neighbour to Neighbour Centre and to celebrate the start of the Christmas season, the BNI B2B Executive Network Chapter is hosting a Charity Concert event. Come to mingle, enjoy some wine, and savor the great tastes of Hors D’oeuvres prepared by Chef Damian Wills. A silent auction will be there to peruse while the concert will feature BNI members Leslie Babel (Digital Fire), Daniel Ott (White Willow Design and Tiny Homes), Erika MacKay (Niche for Design), Stephanie van Dam (Sandler Training Sales Coach), and Rosanna Riverso (Solution Sales Manager, NetAccess Systems Inc.). Renowned Oakville Children and Youth choir “A Few Good Men” will also guest in the show. Professional live musicians including Musical Director Christabel Pinto and Juno Award Winning Clarinetist/Saxophonist Bob DeAngelis will accompany the acts to a variety of popular holiday tracks, while local business brothers Nick Brown, Nat Brown (Brown Financial), and Andrew Brown (Brown Lawyers) entertain us as MCs.
The event will be enjoyed by all – young and old! So bring your children, your friends, your parents, and grandparents for a night of great company, great music, and great fun all for an even greater cause!
