Balancing Risk and Safety - are children too safe for their own good?

Balancing Risk and Safety - are children too safe for their own good?

#4 in a 4 part Parent Education Series offered by the Langley Children Committee. This presentation is sponsored by Langley's Physical Literacy 4 Communities project.

It used to be normal for children to spend long hours outdoors with the freedom to play and take risks. Today, children spend too much time indoors, closly supervised and in structured activites. This interactive keynote will explore the effects of changing childhoods, as well as strategies to restore balance.
