Ghostly Walks - Halloween Tour

Ghostly Walks - Halloween Tour

This activity has finished and is no longer running.

Our guides have collected more than five hundred tales of ghostly encounters in Victoria and have uncovered the sordid truth behind many of the city’s most gruesome crimes and tragic accidents. Ghostly Walks tours weave together Victoria’s ghosts and the stories behind them, bringing the dark history of our city to life. It’s guaranteed to be spell-binding, entertaining, memorable, and most of all spine-tingling!

While you can do their Ghostly Walks throughout the year, they have a special Halloween tour making it the perfect time to check out these scary walks where you get to learn about a whole different side to the city than you're used to.

On these Halloween tours, you’ll hear the stories of the ghost of Belle Adams who slit her boyfriend’s throat, a Jack-the Ripper-style murder, the ghost of the star-crossed Chinese lover, the ghost in the Broad Street bordello, a famous doppelgänger, the mysterious ghost in Trounce Alley, hauntings in Helmcken Alley and classic tales from Bastion Square. The tour starts and ends inside haunted buildings.

Every night starting on September 24th until Halloween night, there will be tours leaving every hour at 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm, 9:30pm from the main archway gate of Market Square.

Tours are 90 minutes long and involve a lot of walking and standing on your feet, so be prepared with good shoes and the right clothing for the weather!
