A little more about our instructors…
Emma Drudge teaches Vinyasa-style yoga with a focus on breath-based mindfulness. You can expect to move, sweat and practice breath and body awareness that makes the class feel more like fluid movement than like work.
Emily Parker teaches yin-style yoga that builds body awareness and will leave you feeling grounded, stretched and spacious. Holding postures for long periods and moving mindfully between them encourages fine-tuning and deep release.
Emily has five years of experience as a Registered Massage Therapist, and her deep understanding of bodies, alignment and release come through in every one of her classes. For students comfortable with touch, Emily offers skillful hands-on adjustments that take you deeper into postures of make subtle tweaks to alignment that will revolutionize your experience of a pose.
You’ll feel her playful sense of humour and attentive presence come through in classes that are calm, relieving and stripped down to a simple, welcoming practice.
Outside of yoga you’ll find Emily climbing outside or at Seven Bays, playing cards in the Cafe, or chasing her new puppy Edith around the Commons.
