On August 24-25, the celebrated fine art festival known as the Palo Alto Festival of the Arts returns to beautiful downtown Palo Alto on University Avenue from 10am-6pm. A stunning showcase of art is displayed across all mediums with 300 talented contemporary artists from all over the country and the Bay Area. Many unique and one-of-a-kind art pieces are available for the perfect souvenir for your home, business, and art collectors alike.
Festivalgoers will have the opportunity to become immersed in some exceptional artistry while strolling through the event. Don’t miss the Italian Street Painting Expo where “paintings” made from chalk pastels are created at ground level – on the pavement, live musical performances on two stages and street corner concerts, performing and interactive exhibits, Free - Kids’ Art Studio, and NEW this year - emerging high school artists.
There’s plenty of tasty foods and beverages throughout. For the wine connoisseur, enjoy some NEW wines introduced by local vintners, or maybe something bubbly. And for our craft-beer aficionados there’s a variety of beers to experience. A perfect pairing to go along with the fine art.
The 38th annual multifaceted arts celebration is hosted by the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce and this year’s Art Lover Patron - Palo Alto Medical Foundation, by supporting artists and community that connect with art.
Experience the difference at one of Northern California’s best fine art festivals. A vibrant and creative atmosphere with imaginative and aesthetically beautiful array of art.
Attendees will find this FREE admission event easy and convenient along with public transit, free parking, bike corral, and festival shuttles. Also, please be kind to your pets and leave them at home. Only service animals are allowed.
