Celebrate National Moth Week with Ranger Kristen! She'll read a book about a young bat's first hunting trip alone. His target - delicious moths! After we read the book, we'll hunt for real life examples of this predator-prey relationship with black lights.
Join Ranger Kristen at the Amphitheater with a blanket or chair to sit on as we read Nightsong by Ari Berk. After the story is over, we'll search for critters using black lights!
All ages are welcome!
Where: The amphitheater is located to the right of the Dining Hall, but is hidden behind the trees. Look for a brown and yellow sign next to the path that leads you back.
Bring: something to sit on (towel, blanket, chair, etc.), water, and dress for the weather!
Cost: Free with park entry fees ($6/person ages 13 and older, kids 12 and younger get in for free!)
**Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian at all times.
