Join us for a free, guided walk to see wildflowers in the Beaver Creek Conservation Area. We will walk a loop trail which will lead us through many different types of habitat, giving us the chance to find a greater diversity of plants. Some of the spring wildflowers we will find include Smooth Blue Beardtongue (Penstemon nitidus), Three-flowered Avens (Geum triflorum) and Goldenbean (Thermopsis rhombifolia). Along the way, we will learn about local ecology and management of the area. This field tour is our event in Wild About Saskatoon’s NatureCity Festival being held from May 21-26, 2019.
