Members only field trip.

The high water levels in the Quill Lakes in recent years have attracted many egrets and herons. We plan to carpool and drive about 200 km SE of Saskatoon to search for lake and shorebirds in this area.We may walk for 1 or 2 km along some closed gravel roads.

Bring a hat, plenty of water and lunch. We may stop for a late pizza supper on the way home. Participants may leave early if they wish.

This event is a members-only field trip for current Saskatoon Nature Society members. Non-members are welcome to take out a 2019 membership
($20 single/ $30 family) at https://saskatoonnature.org/membership/ before registering for this trip.

Meet by the grain elevator in the Western Development Museum parking lot on Lorne Avenue. Car pools will be arranged with participants sharing in the gas costs. See map to meeting location at
