Doors Open - Spadina Museum

This activity has finished and is no longer running.

njoy an afternoon strolling through the posh rooms of Spadina Museum, where the Austin family lived a privileged life among the Toronto bourgeoisie of the 1920s and 1930s. Be sure to visit the archaeology pop-up exhibit displaying artifacts excavated from the property since 2002 by Ontario Heritage Trust. Ask archaeologists about all the discoveries in one of the city’s best-loved great houses and grounds.

Spadina Museum is one of 10 Toronto History Museums that explore where Toronto's many pasts, presents and futures meet. It offers a glimpse of Toronto during the 1910 to 1940 period through the lens of the Austin family.
