Join the journey of a lifetime and make a difference in your community!

Become a volunteer naturalist with the Cedar River Salmon Journey Program, a free, fun and family-friendly salmon viewing program. Learn about our local salmon and one of the world’s amazing wildlife migrations, which runs through the heart of Seattle, Renton and on up into Maple Valley. Naturalists will receive training, then spend three shifts along the river in October, talking to the public about salmon and the Cedar River. No prior experience or knowledge is required. Youth, ages 8 and older, are welcome to volunteer along with a participating adult.
