Mark your calendars! The first Maker Faire event is coming to Saskatchewan! Maker Faire is the Greatest Show (and Tell) on Earth-a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker Movement. It's a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.

Saskatoon Mini Maker Faire is showcasing the cool projects often hidden away in garages, basements, barns, and makerspaces. Join artists, tinkerers, performers, inventors, costumers, and other Makers for a day of crafting, learning, and exploring!

Visit the gallery of growing makers displaying their creations for your entertainment: When visiting their booth you will be able to try your hands at sewing, wood burning, piloting an airplane, blacksmithing, robot driving, video gaming, board game designing, Lego creations, science experiments and a whole lot more!

Multiple workshops will be ongoing throughout the day for old and young to create; among other things Nerdy Derby cars, T-shirt silkscreen printing, soldering projects, wood printing art and cardboard fort building!

Following the Maker Faire philosophy of family-friendly festivals of invention and creativity; this gathering welcomes a broad range of ideas and projects brought to you by the Saskatchewan community members from all walks of life! You never know who could be a maker... you might just discover your neighbour's hidden talents!
