In association with Let's Talk Science, StemCellTalks is hosting our 6th annual symposium at the University of Calgary on May 2nd, 2018 focused on Multiple Sclerosis. This free symposium aims to educate high school students about stem cells and inspire them about academic research through the excitement and experience of trainees and investigators.

The day consists of guest speaker talks, a career panel, and workshops. High school students will have the opportunity to interact with graduate students and professors investigating stem cells at the University of Calgary. This opportunity is an excellent way for students who are interested in biology, stem cells and research to engage with leading researchers in stem cells and discover the world of research at the University of Calgary.

Last year we hosted 177 students and teachers from 17 Calgary schools, making our event the largest in Canada for the second year running. We hope that you can be a part of our event this year!

This event is targeted for high school students. If you are in the Bachelor of health sciences program at the U of C and would like to attend as a volunteer please contact us at sctalkscalgary@gmail.com.
