Are you interested in learning more about beekeeping, but unsure how to get started? Do you love gardening, or growing your own food? Are you an eco-concious person looking to do your part?

If any of this sounds familiar then our Intro to Backyard Beekeeping Class is perfect for you.

We'll show you how, with our help, you can become an urban beekeeper. This class is designed for beginner beekeepers, or curious individuals that want to know more about what's involved in setting up a hive, and producing honey in your own backyard.

This class will focus on the beekeeper's journey through a full year, and will cover some of the basics of hive management, including:

Growing your colony in the spring,
Preventing swarming in the summer
Harvesting honey in the fall
Preparing your hive for the winter
If you're wondering what beekeeping is all about, and how you can get started, then this free class is perfect for you.

Includes a honey tasting.
