Sun, 12pm - 4pm
Elizabeth Brown will cover the care and use of your carving tools. The mystery will be taken out of sharpening the parting V-tool and others. Mastering keen edges will result in cleaner work. Fine carving that is satisfying starts with sharp tools. Bring some of your tools to sharpen. All other tools and materials provided.
Elizabeth Brown is a self-taught carver from Liverpool, Nova Scotia, who has successfully forged a career as a full-time carver, much to her delight. She began carving in 1993 and specializes in carving wood spirits made from various types of wood, although her favorite wood is apple.
