Easter Eggs for Easterseals is a daily Easter egg hunt on the University of Texas at Austin campus from March 26th to March 30th. There will be two prize eggs hidden on campus each day representing two different prizes. The Cash Egg represents a $500 prize paid out to the participant who first finds it. The Kendra Scott Egg represents a piece donated by Kendra Scott. All profits from this event will be donated to Easterseals serving Central Texas and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Participants can compete in the Cash Egg Hunt, the Kendra Scott Egg Hunt, or both. Any participant can win a maximum of two events over the course of the week, and are encouraged to sign up for more than one day and event as there will be many contestants and many winners.
All of the Cash Eggs and Kendra Scott Eggs will be hidden on the main campus of UT Austin. Each day, there will be multiple text-based hints sent out giving you clues about the location of the hidden eggs. The event will run from 9 AM to 4 PM every day. Members of Tau Kappa Epsilon and the Texas Wranglers will be in the area of the hidden eggs to confirm winners on-site.
This event is a collaboration between Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity and the Texas Wranglers.
Participants must be students at the University of Texas at Austin.
Only registered participants will receive hints of the locations of the eggs.
Winners will be verified as registered participants for the given event before receiving any prize.
No single participant may win more than two (2) total events throughout the week.
There will be two (2) eggs hidden each day: one Cash Egg and one Kendra Scott Egg.
If an egg is not found by the end of the day, it's reward will be donated to the event's beneficiary: Easterseals serving Central Texas.
Eggs will only be hidden on campus within the area contained by Guadalupe Street, 21st Street, San Jacinto Blvd, and W Dean Keaton Street.
Upon discovering an egg, reply to the number from which you've been receiving the hints with the code that is contained in the egg, so you can be verified.
