About the Farms:

Mason Street Farm is a wonderful, small market farm located near downtown Victoria that is jam-packed with produce and innovative ideas about teaching communities about growing food in the pacific NW, and creating sustainable models of food production in urban areas. They currently supply various community members and local restaurants with tasty, home-grown food.

Fireweed Farm & School is a community-focused farm that concentrates on growing herbs, locally-grown organic herbs and veggies, and learning about the medicinal quality of plants. Over 300 herbs are grown at this beautiful farm, and individuals are welcomed to learn more about the farm through the farm shop, and various workshops, programs, and work opportunities. They specialize in learning about herbalism and farming through hands-on and heart-centred practice.

Haliburton Farm is a Community Organic Farm that has 7 farming businesses on site, including 5 farms and two seedling businesses, all certified organic. The farms work together to fill a box program in the summer and collaborate to sell produce, flowers and plant starts at various farmers markets around the Victoria/CRD areas. They also provide educational opportunities for organic farmers and the broader community to increase public knowledge about small scale organic farming, and are committed to maintaining and restoring ecosystem health through small scale organic farming.
