A jazz opera premiere by multi-Juno Award nominee, Jeri Brown, Vera’s Lament is slated for three afternoon performances at the Museum. Get swept up in the drama of Vera and Joe as they navigate the breakdown of their relationship, and their feelings towards the woman who came between them. Vera’s Lament features moving performances by Halifax singer/actor Linda Carvery and dancers Brigitte Aucoin and Julio Fernandez, with music by pianist and composer, the late Milton Sealey.
