This workshop introduces beginning baby signs that are based on American Sign Language (ASL). You will learn about the important benefits of signing with your baby along with the techniques on how to teach your pre-verbal baby to sign. Fun activities and songs will show you how easy it can be to integrate more than 20 simple signs into your everyday routine to jump-start your baby's verbal skills. This workshop is appropriate for parents & caregivers of children, from birth to 18 month olds.

This is the perfect introduction to our more in-depth 6 week baby sign language playgroup series.

"Happy Baby Signs" helps parents live with more joy by illuminating new ways to nurture, communicate, and connect with themselves, each other, and their children. Bill Austin-White, director of Happy Baby Signs’ program, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychobiology from University of California, Santa Cruz. He facilitates baby sign language programs at Kaiser Permanente, Sutter Health and Dignity Health Hospitals, Peninsula Jewish Community Center, and more.
