If you are comfortable with basic spindle-turning techniques, this workshop is for you! Stephen Zwerling will take you through the design and turning of one or more simple icicle ornaments using skew and spindle gouges. He will also demonstrate how to turn a bell, and if you are feeling adventurous, you can try it yourself. All tools and materials provided.
Fee: $50.00

Stephen Zwerling, a native Nova Scotian, originally studied photography in New York and film production in England. After being active in photography in Toronto and Halifax, including teaching at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University, Stephen turned to his avocation of woodturning. He is a founding member of the Nova Woodturners' Guild. His studio overlooks St. Margaret's Bay at Boutilier's Point in Nova Scotia.

Unless otherwise stated, previous experience is not required to participate
in seminars and attendees should be 16 years old or older.
Seminar tickets are not available online.
Beverages are provided at our seminars and a light
sandwich lunch is provided at all-day events.

with the staff at time of registration.
In an effort to reduce waste, we encourage you to bring in
your own coffee mug and/or refillable water bottle.
We require that you wear closed shoes
(e.g. running shoes) to all seminars.
