Sustainable Oceans is an annual student oceans conference led by the Master of Marine Management Students of the Marine Affairs Program, Dalhousie University. In its sixth year, this is the only student-led oceans conference in Atlantic Canada.

You, Me, and the Sea: Family Program – 10:00am-1:00pm – Halifax Central Library, 2nd Floor
You, Me, and the Sea is a family friendly event that runs parallel to the presentation component of the Sustainable Oceans Conference. The hope of this event is to engage all ages in connecting and learning about the oceans to increase ocean optimism and literacy in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Several Halifax-based organizations will be hosting activities, including touch tanks, arts and crafts, games, educational presentations, and more. No registration is required for You, Me, and the Sea.
The conference is free and accessible to all who are interested in learning more about the oceans and becoming engaged in marine conservation and stewardship.
