Anxiety has been described in many different ways in our culture. Often times we think of it in its physical manifestations such as rapid heart rate, perspiration, and shakiness. It can also manifest mentally as a racing mind, feeling overwhelmed, or a sense of foreboding.

Yoga is the practice of stilling the mind.

"Perception of our true nature is often obscured by physical, mental, and emotional imbalances. These imbalances can promote restlessness, uneven breathing, worry, and loss of hope. These imbalances can be prevented from engaging by developing loyalty to a sacred practice."

In this workshop we will address the physical, mental, and emotional triggers for anxiety as well as tools used for self soothing. We will work with Asana, Pranayama, Meditation, The Yoga Sutras, and lifestyle considerations. This is an all levels workshop.
