Jr. Adventures in Game Coding

Run by Digital Media Academy - Boston Ages 6-8 yrs

Discover how to create video games and character animations while learning the basics of computer programming using ScratchJr. Developed by MIT, ScratchJr is an award-winning drag-and-drop programming tool that requires no previous coding knowledge to use.

Working collaboratively with classmates and instructors, students will graduate from using ScratchJr to using Hopscotch and learn how to use programming to create exciting games and animations. At the end of the week students get to show the game they created to their family and new friends.
