Robotics & Engineering Academy

Run by Digital Media Academy - Toronto Ages 12-17 yrs

In this in-depth robotics academy, you’ll get hands-on experience with electronics and electrical engineering and learn the C family of programming languages using Arduino.

Week 1, Arduino Robotics: During week one students will use a combination of mechanical, electrical and software engineering to learn how to design, assemble and program a robot using Arduino microcontrollers.

Week 2, Electrical Engineering with Raspberry Pi: In the second week students will use Raspberry Pi, the Python programming language, and a variety of sensors, to create intelligent systems that respond to the physical world! Bridge the gap between the physical world and internet by designing systems that send sensor data into the Pi, process the data, and output the information to the internet or via text messages.
