Wild California

Run by WildCare Ages 6-8 yrs

What do grey whales, quail and dogface butterflies all have in common? They are just some of California's "official" state animals. Explore the unique plants, animals and habitats that make California such a magnificent place to live. You may recognize a few familiar friends! Campers will go on off-site hikes to Phoenix Lake on Tuesday and the Marin Headlands on Thursday. Parents/guardians are responsible for providing transportation to and from the hike locations.
WildCare’s Wildlife Camps provides campers with an unforgettable wildlife experience, including live animal visits from our rescued wildlife ambassadors, animal-themed games, nature crafts, hikes and much more! Weekly camp programs are designed to captivate, engage and challenge young people, while building conservation knowledge and values. Wildlife Camp is a fun way to stimulate learning about wildlife and instill a life-long respect for the environment
