Explore the use of various tools, equipment and craftsmanship techniques of the millwork and machining trades.  Students will spend time in the machining area where they will learn to drill, mill and turn metals on CNC machines. They will then produce and assemble components required for a longboard truck and wheel assembly.  Students will move on to the carpentry/millwork shop where they will learn to draw, cut, plane and finish wood for their longboard surface that will complete their customized take-home project.
