Tinker Builder Gamer Pi's March Break Video Game Design Camp!

Run by Tinker Builder Gamer Pi's March Break Video Game Design Camp

Join us for a week long workshop where we'll be creating our very own video games! We'll be using the Unity Game Design Engine, which is what the pros use, but don't worry, this course is for beginners!! We'll learn how to create assets (our characters, enemies, power ups, coins, etc.); experiment with Unity's physics engine to control how our characters move and interact with their surroundings; learn how to add music and sound effects; and learn how to deploy our game so it can be played on a variety of different platforms. Because the software is free, your kids can continue creating and experimenting once the camp is done! We'll have several guest speakers joining us from the industry including a Game Designer from Ubisoft, Scriptwriters and 3D Artists!
Video Games are a great way to introduce kids to the world of computer programming and coding, and once they've started, they'll want to keep coming back!

This Session is for ages 10-13.
