Bioengineering

Run by The Harker School Ages 11-13 yrs



Biomedical engineering is a unique interdisciplinary program. It is offered as a two-week course to engage curious minds to solve real-life problems in healthcare by applying engineering principles. Through a series of lessons and hands-on activities, students will diagnose and cure common ailments found in human body systems by building simple biomedical devices or applications. Students will test their prototypes to evaluate the effectiveness of their engineering design and in the process deepen their understanding of the human body systems.
