Advanced Robotics

Run by The Harker School Ages 11-13 yrs

Advanced Robotics students will learn robot control concepts and try them out on Arduino-based robot vehicles. The course uses an extended mBot kit for each student. The mBot is a robot vehicle that can be remote-controlled or autonomous. It is programmed in Arduino Sketch, which is a type of C-like language. The emphasis of the course will be on robot programming; almost every day there will be a new task to be understood, programmed and tested. Students who complete the course may take the robot home at the end of the course to continue learning more about robotics.
