Acrobatic Dance is a style of dance formed of gymnastics and dance, Students learn to properly and safely execute acrobatic tricks in seamless combination with more traditional dance steps. This style improves conditioning, strength, Flexibility, Agility and control. Acrobatic Arts Certified Instructor Shy Kotkas of En L’air Academy of Dance has been teaching Acrobatic technique for over 5 years and runs an energetic and fun class while pushing students to succeed in new tricks with proper technique. Students are required to wear a black leotard, beige 3 quarter length dance tights and bare feet.

Operating out of McKenzie Towne Hall, we offer recreation classes for Calgarians of all ages, day camps during spring break and summer, as well as drop-in gym times and social groups for residents and their guests.
