The actor’s voice and the actor’s body are two elements most essential to good character communication. These are also the two areas that need the most development in young actors. This class is designed to address the power of creating physical character, identifying obstacles, and working to overcome them. Instructors will use a variety of approaches to enhance the young actor’s physical work, including mime, clowning, masks, commedia dell’arte, and physical improvisation. A must for all serious young actors.
