If you're an advanced student grades 9–12 with previous acting and singing experience, our ensemble program is a great opportunity to hone your artistry with focused and eager peers.
During weekly rehearsals from September to May, our Cabaret Ensemble and Musical Theater Ensemble develop a number of musical pieces in various styles—from works by well-known composers to standard musical theater selections—for performances in the Garret, the intimate fifth-floor performance space at A.C.T.'s Geary Theater.
Both ensembles present a series of weekend cabarets throughout the 9-month period, and members serve as musical ambassadors for the Young Conservatory, performing at events sponsored by A.C.T. and other organizations throughout the year.

Ensemble placement is determined by audition.*

Both ensembles meet weekly for a 2.5-hour rehearsal and require a 9-month commitment.
