Mirroring a classic fun 'hook-in', learn the 'one simple loop' that changed the people of Newfoundland and world. Expect a lively, interactive artistic adventure, and complete an 8' round trivet to use or display. Learn the story of how and why this heritage craft became a contemporary celebrated art medium of re-purposing - well before it was fashionable! Each week will include a discussion of different aspects of traditional rug hooking. Come on over 'round and get hooked! A material fee of $40 is required and will be added on at the time of registration.
