Tagged in: Music, After School

In this ensemble for mixed strings, students work on following a conductor, playing as a group, and developing intonation, bowing, and phrasing. Repertoire includes beginning-level arrangements of standard string repertoire. A portion of each rehearsal is devoted to the development of musicianship skills, including ear training, sight-singing, and general music literacy.

Students are required to study privately with a teacher of their choice. Audition required. Mid-year applicants are welcome as space permits.
